About Us

Our History

The Filipino-American Association of Coastal Georgia (FAACG) was founded in 1989 by a group of Filipino-American residents who recognized the need for a community organization to support and connect Filipino-Americans in the Coastal Georgia region.

Over the past three decades, FAACG has grown from a small group of dedicated individuals to a thriving community organization with over 1,000 members. We have established numerous programs and events that celebrate Filipino culture, provide educational opportunities, and support our local community.

Our Mission

The mission of the Filipino-American Association of Coastal Georgia is to unite and empower the Filipino-American community in Coastal Georgia through cultural preservation, education, and community service.

Our Goals:

  • Promote and preserve Filipino culture and heritage
  • Provide educational and professional development opportunities
  • Support and engage in community service initiatives
  • Foster unity and cooperation among Filipino-Americans and the broader community
  • Advocate for the interests of Filipino-Americans in Coastal Georgia
